Terms of use

Last updated: 6 November 2026

1. Who we are and what these terms cover

Wasla Souq is run by Belford Trading Group FZC, a free zone company licensed by the Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park Free Zone Authority under licence number 11227, with its address at Block B-B56-095, Sharjah Research Technology & Innovation Park Free Zone, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates (“we”, “us”). Wasla Souq is an online marketplace that connects brands (“Brands”) with people who promote their products for a commission (“Affiliates”).

These terms are an agreement between us and you, whether you visit the website, apply, or hold an approved Brand or Affiliate account. By ticking the box when you sign up, or by using Wasla Souq, you accept these terms and our privacy policy. This acceptance is an electronic contract under Federal Decree-Law No. 46 of 2021 on Electronic Transactions and Trust Services, and is as binding as a signed paper contract. If you do not agree, please do not use Wasla Souq.

If you accept on behalf of a company, you confirm that you are authorised to bind it, and “you” means that company.

2. Who can use Wasla Souq

3. Applications, approval and your account

Every Brand and Affiliate is reviewed before approval. We may ask for documents (for example a trade licence, Emirates ID or proof of your social media profile) and may approve or refuse any application at our discretion. You must give true, complete and current information and keep it up to date.

You are responsible for everything done through your account. Keep your password private, use a strong password, and tell us at once at support@waslasouq.com if you think someone else has used your account.

4. How Wasla Souq works, and what we are not

Buyers pay the Brand, wherever the Brand sells. Brands pay their Affiliates’ commission directly. Wasla Souq records referral links, clicks, sales and payouts so that both sides can see them, but we never receive, hold, send or transfer that money. We are not a payment service provider, bank, escrow agent or employer, and we are not a party to any sale between a Brand and a buyer, or to the commission agreement between a Brand and an Affiliate.

When an Affiliate joins a Brand’s offer, the Brand and the Affiliate agree directly with each other on the terms shown on that offer (commission rate, hold period, referral period and any other conditions the Brand lists). Affiliates are independent; nothing on Wasla Souq makes an Affiliate an employee, agent or commercial agent of a Brand or of us.

Our records of clicks, sales and payouts are provided to help both sides. They depend on information supplied by Brands (including through postbacks and coupon codes) and may contain errors. They are evidence of what was recorded, not a guarantee that a sale took place or that commission is owed.

5. What Brands agree to

6. What Affiliates agree to

7. Prohibited products and content

You may not use Wasla Souq to offer, promote, link to or publish anything that is unlawful in the UAE or that breaches Federal Decree-Law No. 34 of 2021 on Combating Rumours and Cybercrimes, including:

We may remove or block any offer or content that we reasonably believe breaks these terms or the law, and may report it to the competent authorities where the law requires.

8. Brand subscription and fees

Brands pay a monthly subscription at the price shown at checkout. Prices are in the currency shown and, where we are required to charge it, exclude 5% UAE VAT, which is added to the invoice. Payment is taken by card through Stripe, which handles your card details; we never see your full card number.

The subscription renews every month until cancelled. You can cancel any time from your Billing page; your offers stay live until the end of the month already paid, and we do not refund part months unless the law requires it. If a renewal can’t be charged, offers stay live for 7 days while the card is retried, then pause until payment. While paused, offers are hidden from Affiliates and their links stop working; sales, payouts and settings are kept, and commission already earned by Affiliates is still owed by the Brand.

We may change the subscription price by telling Brands at least 30 days before the change applies. If you do not agree, you can cancel before the new price takes effect. Affiliates pay nothing to use Wasla Souq.

9. Disputes between Brands and Affiliates

Brands and Affiliates must try in good faith to settle any disagreement about sales, commission or payouts between themselves, using the tools on Wasla Souq (for example confirming or disputing a payout). We may look into a dispute and share the records we hold with both sides, and we may act under section 11 if we find a breach of these terms, but we are not obliged to decide the dispute and we are not liable for any amount one side owes the other.

10. Content and intellectual property

Wasla Souq, its design, software and the Wasla Souq name and logo belong to us or our licensors and are protected by Federal Decree-Law No. 38 of 2021 on Copyrights and Neighbouring Rights, Federal Decree-Law No. 36 of 2021 on Trademarks and other laws. You may not copy, scrape, resell or reverse-engineer Wasla Souq, or use our name or logo, without our written permission.

You keep ownership of everything you upload or publish on Wasla Souq (“your content”). You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display and share your content with other users for as long as it is on Wasla Souq, so that the marketplace can work. A Brand also gives each Affiliate approved for its offer a non-exclusive licence to use the Brand’s name, logo and offer materials solely to promote that offer, ending when the partnership ends. You confirm that you have the right to grant these licences.

If you believe something on Wasla Souq infringes your rights, email support@waslasouq.com with the page link, what you own and why it infringes. We will review it promptly and may remove the content.

11. Suspension and closing accounts

We may suspend or close an account, pause or block offers, or cancel unpaid commission that came from the misconduct, if we reasonably believe that the account holder has broken these terms or the law, has sent fake or fraudulent clicks or sales, has misled buyers, Brands or Affiliates, or puts Wasla Souq or its users at legal risk. Where it is reasonable and lawful to do so, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond.

You can close your account at any time by contacting us. Closing an account does not cancel commission already earned and owed, payouts already recorded, or any other obligation that arose before closing. Sections 4, 9, 10 and 12 to 16 continue to apply after an account is closed. We keep records after closing only as described in our privacy policy and as the law requires.

12. Privacy and personal data

We handle personal data as described in our privacy policy and in line with Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data. Brands and Affiliates are each responsible for the personal data they collect themselves (for example buyers’ details or followers’ data) and must handle it lawfully. Brands must not send us buyers’ names, contact or payment details through Wasla Souq; an order reference and amount are enough.

13. Service availability and disclaimers

We work to keep Wasla Souq available, secure and accurate, but we provide it “as is” and “as available”. As far as the law allows, we do not promise that it will always be available or error-free, that any Brand or Affiliate will perform as they say, or that you will earn any particular amount of sales or commission. We do not check or endorse Brands’ products or Affiliates’ content. Nothing in these terms removes any right you have under UAE law that cannot be excluded by contract.

14. Our liability

As far as UAE law allows, we are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, commission, business, goodwill or data, or for any indirect loss, and our total liability to you for everything arising from Wasla Souq in any 12 months is limited to the subscription fees you paid us in those 12 months, or AED 500 if you paid nothing.

These limits do not apply to loss caused by our fraud, wilful misconduct or gross negligence, or to any liability that cannot be limited under UAE law, including the Civil Transactions Law.

15. Your responsibility to us

You will compensate us for any loss, fine, claim or reasonable cost (including legal fees) that we suffer because you broke these terms or the law, or because of your products, your promotions or your dealings with buyers, Brands or Affiliates.

16. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates and, where relevant, the laws of the Emirate of Sharjah. If you have a complaint, please contact us first at support@waslasouq.com; we will reply within 14 days and both sides will try in good faith to settle it within 30 days. If it is not settled, the courts of the Emirate of Sharjah have exclusive jurisdiction, unless UAE law gives you a right to bring the matter elsewhere.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when the law or Wasla Souq changes. For a significant change we will email approved Brands and Affiliates and show a notice on Wasla Souq at least 30 days before it takes effect, unless the law requires a faster change. If you keep using Wasla Souq after that date, the new terms apply; if you do not agree, you can close your account before then. The date at the top shows the latest version.
